Welcome to Pen of Travis
A Little about this Site
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Travis Martin, and I'm a Christian science-fiction writer who attends Kennesaw State University of metropolitan Atlanta. My stories tend to have deep meanings along with the fun adventure you would expect from a good imagination. On this site I have posted some of my works, so feel free to enjoy! My only request is that you respect my works for what they are, and not take them for other use without permission (they are copyrighted). Remember: God, whom I hold to be the Great Inspirer of all things, gave you the pen of your life, and now the adventure lies in your hands!
"O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed."

(03-02-11) Three things. First, for a time I took Backbones off the site for what I figured was much needed revision. It's all up and running again, so check it out! Second, once again I've changed my mind about Primoris. It won't be a webovel afterall. It's going to be a really frickin' long short story. I'm still working on it, and slowly but surely it's coming together. Thirdly, I am dating an amazing woman by the name of Courtney Musser now. You can actually see her picture on my Best Readers page. Also, for all you Backbones fans, I think I should tell you that when I wrote Part 2 in late 2009, I was crazy about Courtney. Chelsey was designed to look just like her! However I didn't really know Courtney all that well at the time, so don't assume that Chelsey's personality or involvement in the story's plot has anything to do with her. Just know that I made Chelsey gorgeous for a reason
.
(09-04-10) I've decided to transform Primoris into a webnovel. It will be published chapter by chapter, and the Prologue has already been posted! Enjoy!
(07-18-10) Okay, so I lied. It's going to be SORTA soon. I keep adding more things to this story, and I want it to be perfect before I publish it. I think it's worth the wait though. lol
(06-19-10) Something new is coming soon!

Universe Breakpoint
Watch out for my upcoming novel, "Universe Breakpoint," as it will hopefully hit stores within the next few years. I know that sounds like a long time, but it will go by fast! (believe me, I'm anticipating this more than anyone
)
It is 7:46 PM (SBT) on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Humanity is stranded in the greatest peril it has ever known. With what was once known as the West lying in ruins, the World Union now controls almost the entire planet. Meanwhile, America is attempting to prepare herself for a fight against all odds to keep her independence as a nation. One last stand against the impending holocaust is all that remains. One final hope.
Out in space, the secret, secondary government known as the United States Fleet Core is waiting, ready to make its move that will change the face of mankind forever.
"And there was panic everywhere. Rioting went unchecked in most of America's major cities, particularly Dallas, Chicago, Washington D.C. and New York. Even with the threat of invasion looming on nearly every horizon, the nation seemed to be falling apart within itself without a single foreign gunshot fired. But then the unthinkable happened. It wasn't biological or nuclear warfare. No, that was expected - too obvious to be of any real surprise to anyone. But what did happen was nonetheless unspeakable...unprecedented...nothing like the world had ever seen.
The United States of America disappeared from the face of the Earth without a trace. No casualties. Every building left behind. The distorted remains of crashed vehicles cluttered nearly every road. The population had simply...vanished."
